Manage Your Documents Effectively
I am trying to help a local business better deal with the huge number of documents that they have on hand. It’s really ridiculous how many documents they collect and how they really don’t know how properly manage them. It’s not surprising though since it is a common problem. I am helping them look at a document management system that might just help them out with their problem.
I suspect that in the near future many more companies will be investing in and utilizing document management systems to help their business grow.
Increase Value With Quality Ceiling Fans
I talk often here on this blog about how to bring real value back into your home by doing simple projects. One idea that can really help keep your home comfortable while increasing its value is to put in quality ceiling fans, like Hunter ceiling fans. By putting a good brand of ceiling fans, you and any future buyers of your home know that the fans will last and brings of comfort. Often times the ambiance they bring in the home is several times the cost of the fans and installing them.
Save With Homeowners Insurance?
I was looking at different ways to save on insurance the other day. I know about finding cheaper auto insurance, especially with all the TV commercials and internet ads out there. I also know about finding cheaper medical and life insurance. It didn’t hit me that I could also save on homeowners insurance just as easily.
Hmm, it looks like I need to add that to my budget saving plan and increase my household savings.
Too Many RFID Cards Out There
It seems like everyone is getting ids and other cards with an RFID chip built right into them. This can be dangerous since research shows that hackers with the right kind of equipment can activate the RFID chips from a distance and read the data stored on them. Of course the companies and the government denies this, but I am with privacy advocates on this and that’s why I think it’s a good idea to have a rfid blocking wallet. That way the hackers are kept at bay.
What about you all?
Wholesalers and Retailers
It’s hard to figure out what is a better business arrangement, retail or wholesale. If you are a retailer then you can decide your prices and you deal directly with the end consumer. On the other hand, if you are a wholesaler then you deal with other businesses. You can set your prices at a level that they will pay on the assumption of the profit that they will make.
I don’t know which is easier, but if I have a choice to shop at a wholesaler or a retailer, I know where I will get better prices.
