I was out golfing last Saturday and had a great time. There is nothing quite like waking up on Saturday morning and instead of working at home, taking off for a round of golf. It’s a great way to exercise and get some fresh air. This time, it was my first round of golf using the new golf bag that I bought last month. You know, I had to look through a lot of golf bags to find the perfect one, but after going a round of golf with this new one, I know I made the perfect choice.

I just found an awesome video Youtube with Ali G. He’s interviewing a bunch of NBA stars for TNT. It’s hilarious to sit through and watch all of them. It funny to see the reactions of the NBA stars to the pure stupidity of Ali G. It’s a video that you’ll enjoy so sit back and play it. You’ll get more than a few laughs.

It’s a sad day. It’s a very sad day. Tim Russert of Meet The Press has passed away. I tape Meet The Press every Sunday on my Tivo. I appreciate his hard hitting questioning and his way of getting to the truth of the matter, or at least trying to get to the truth. He will be truly missed.

I do not know who they can find that could take the place of him or deliver the questioning quite like he has done. Other journalists seem to be afraid to ask the tough questions, not Tim Russert. I just hope that truth in this campaign season doesn’t take a hit due to this tragic turn of events.

My hat is off to you, Tim.

I am getting everything ready for football season. Now, I don’t do much betting on sports at all, my wife tries to keep that part of me under control, but nothing can stop me from making friendly bets with my friends. I love checking for all the best football picks a few days before the weekend games.

Sometimes, I will get a great pick and share it with my friends, but other times I will just try to play the part of the pundit and see how much I can collect from my friends. This football season I will be checking out the football picks at addictsports.com. I hope they are good.

It’s so funny seeing how my kids keep wanting to learn more and more. My kids have really gotten into internet flash games. They love trying their hands at all of the games and are anxious to show off their game prowness to daddy.

I love watching them play. They are far from perfect when they play the games, but they are always trying and never giving up. They’ll just keep trying until they find the way that works. This is very encouraging for me since it’s a value that I want to instill in them.

I used to be anti Video games until I started seeing how they can use them to learn. I still try to limit how much they play and the types of games they play, but I also know there is some good in them.

I like finding the lyrics for the songs I like. I remember that was one of the early things I did on the net and I liked how people could come together to make lyrics available for everyone.
