Looking Forward

It’s important to always look forward in your endeavors. When you spend too much time looking into the past, you end up not being able to properly see the future. This is a problem that I have committed too many times to count and is something I am working on.

I am trying to resolve in the future to only look for the positive things and move in the positive direction. That means ignoring some of the problems of the past. That doesn’t mean that I wont try to learn from the past. Wrong. I will learn from the past but not let the bad decisions of the past get into the way of my success in the future.

Don’t Give Up On Us

Don’t give up on us is a popular song that has touched the lives and hearts of many different people around the world. No one wants to be given up on and making that statement says, hey I can still be successful, I can still get through.

It’s all about not giving up and trying to find a way despite obstacles that might crop up along the way. It is having faith that things will turn out for the better. That’s the way I feel right now for a couple of my personal projects. I am trying to solicit help from others and it means letting people know that they shouldn’t give up and they should try to help others succeed.

Maybe that can be the theme song of my personal projects?

The Market is Getting Stronger

It’s nice to see that the real estate market continues to get stronger. I really think the economic stimulus checks did a lot to strengthen up the market and give it a base to build upon. I have noticed that people are starting to go back out looking for new homes. Sales appear to be stabilizing.

This is very good news because the industries that rely on a strong home market have been in tough shape over the last several months. I think that as things begin to solidify in the housing market, these industries, like home appliances and home improvement, will see a nice upturn. I do love happy economic news.

Real Resume Help

A friend of mine was teaching English in Mexico. He didn’t even finish prepa because he went to Canada when he should have been in prepa.

He was an illegal worker in Canada and his first job was as a dishwasher and then he worked as a clerk in a donut shop.

He had been teaching LG executives and they wanted to help him get a suitable job in their company, but he needed to document his work in the form of a CV. He came to me asking for help and I told him I could help with a nice CV.

Easy peasy, I took at a look at his experience as a dishwasher and changed it to assistant to the chef. He asked me why and I asked him, did you ever help the Chef? He said yes and I told him, see, you were an assistant to the chef.

Next, I put on it that he was an Assistant Store Manager. Why? I asked him, were you ever left in charge when the manager left the shop? Yes, he was…because he was the only employee working for a few hours each shift. No problem, assistant manager. :)

Here is a real resume tip. Never tell a lie on your resume. Just find your skills and make it look good

Never Give Up

Never Give Up. No matter what things may get in your way, no matter what people may get in your way, never give up. Never let other people make you give up your dreams. Your dreams belong to you, nobody else. There are those who want to destroy your dreams and keep you from making your dreams come true and those are the people you need to avoid in your life. They will only bring you down.

Remember, even Satan himself would like you to give up your dreams. He wants to stop doing the bidding of God and wants you to chase carnal dreams. Don’t do it. Stay the course. Endure to the End. Never Give Up.
