Medivac Flights Save Lives

I have witnessed myself the power of emergency medical flights. My own father was medivaced to another hospital after an accident. When time is of the essence and someone needs the best medical care, it is very clear that the best way to get a patient to the best medical service is with a medivac flight. Countless lives have been saved with these medical evacuation flights over the years. Now, patients who might not have had a lot of chance in the past, can now get the very best in medical care.

It’s impossible for me to stop talking about the good these medivac services provide because I know they are lifesavers. One such service is AeroCare. They provide medical transport services around the world with EMT and nurses so that patients have good medical care on their way to the best medical care.

They didn’t know?

I have been following the business world lately. It seems that businesses are having so much of a hard time handling the sub prime fiasco. I read yesterday that the Fed was caught off guard and so were banks. I find it very fun because most of us with an brains knew that you couldn’t lend billions to those who couldn’t afford the loans. It is pure stupidity to think that would have been possible, but I guess the big brains in business and the economy are claiming they didn’t know. Oh well, we all pay for their excesses.

Soap Making as a Business?

I just love finding out more and more about stuff on the net. I have been doing a ton of research on the internet into soap making supplies thanks to my initial post on soap making supplies. My wife is really interested in making designer soaps and candles as a way to make some money and feed her artistic cravings. I really think she would do good at it and maybe make some decent money.

I have been doing a lot of research on different supplies for us to get and how to set it up here in the house. I’d appreciate any comments from anyone with information on marketing the finished soap and candles.

Soap and Lip Balm Made Easy

It was during ancient times that the first soap was made. Getting lye from ash and mixing it with oil or other fats created a substance that could clean your skin and leave you refreshed. This was the beginning of soap and soap makers began to fill a need for people to feel clean and fresh.

Using high quality soap making supplies, they created soap with various fragrances and textures. Like any craft, those who take pride in their work transformed the craft into almost a art form and that is what soap making has turned into. It has morphed into a craft that focuses not only on specialty soaps, but other personal care products.

Now it seems that one of the new personal care products to make at home is lip balm. Homemade lip balm can be superior to store bought lip balm and you can make it truly customized. Your only concern is finding lip balm containers, but suppliers like Elements Bath and Body have the supplies you need.

What is Universal Value?

This site is entitled Universal Value Exchange but what is universal value anyways? In short, universal value is something that has the same value throughout the world. Here we talk about value in an economic or monetary sense, though other values can and are just as universal.

According to Isaiah Berlin, the noted Political Philosopher, a universal value is thought of as this:

…universal values….are values that a great many human beings in the vast majority of places and situations, at almost all times, do in fact hold in common, whether consciously and explicitly or as expressed in their behaviour…

Ideas can be a universal value, particularly when you begin to think about ideas such as the wheel, fire, bridges, and roads. These are valued no matter where you go and they will always be valued.

Now you know where the universal value comes from.
