Memories: A Truly Universal Value

Sometimes I do get nostalgic. I try not to make this blog too much about myself, but sometimes I feel impressed to share some details. Last night I had a dream about daffodils. See, I remember growing up in Oregon and every spring, the daffodils would bloom out. There was farm after farm that grew daffodils. Still why dream about daffodils in November?

I think it was a dream about my grandfather because one of the keen memories I have of my grandfather is going out with him and my grandmother to view the daffodils. Another memory I have of my grandfather is of his horses. My grandfather raced horses around Oregon and California. I remember going along to the races with him. Sometimes he won, sometimes he lost, but he always had fun. I fondly remember helping him take care of the horses, like feeding them their horse supplements, their vitamins, and their alfalfa hay.

Maybe I had my dream about daffodils last night because of the memories that came to mind after watching Seabiscuit for the tenth time? I’m not sure. Either way, it was a relaxing dream and all day I have been thinking of my grandfather. Memories of loved ones? That’s a universal value.

Even More Weight To Lose

I have been dealing with some health issues and according to the Doctor, it’s because I need to lose more weight. I have lost plenty in the past, but it’s obviously not enough. That means more looking into diets, diet pills, and exercise programs. Not sure which avenue is the best, but with my recent problems, I can’t help but think too much exercise might be out of the question.

I guess I will just have to figure out which way is the best way to help me lose even more weight and get my health back on an even keel.

Ok, it’s time to talk business. I have been focused on non business things for the last couple of months. I’m dealing with some personal health issues and my productivity in everything has sufferred as a result. Not anymore. I decided to take the bulls by the horn and start doing productive things each and every day, even if my health is not cooperating.

English Casa is nearing completion. It’s going to be a guide for TEFL teachers in Latin America. I am not completely sure where it’s headed, but I think it’s going to be a great resource.

I am going to have a forum at Blogovela up and running within the next week. This will be a webmaster type of forum. Yes, I know there are hundreds, if not thousands of them, but face it, people are using them. I might as well be part of it.

I have more plans to follow, but one thing is sure. I am back.

I guess Las Vegas is really looking like the go to destinations now, especially with the economy the way it is. There’s some great deals on travel to Las Vegas and you can even find a great buy on a vegas hotel room. It really is looking like the time to visit Vegas.

I haven’t been back to Vegas in a few years, but with all the deals I am finding on the net, I am thinking that a trip to Las Vegas is just around the corner. I know my wife and kids would love it.

I notice that I have been giving quite a bit of advice on how to improve the resale value of your home lately. If you take the tips, you’ll have a more beautiful and more valuable home. Moreover, you will find your equity increases and you’ll be able to take a larger home equity loan. It could be just what you need to get ballooning credit debt under control. It also means that it’s easier to get out of your home and move someplace new.

When the economy goes sour, sometimes people need to move onto a new place to take advantage of better economic opportunities. I’d like to give a little insight on moving. Moving is a very emotionally taxing ordeal and that’s a professional mover can really help you through it all while reducing your stress level. For example, if you are in New York and you’ll look for New York movers who can help you have a stress free move. The same applies if you are in Denver, Chicago or even Dallas. A professional mover can make your moves less stressful.
