Asbestos Dangers
I am lucky to have known about the dangers of asbestos since I was a little kid. I remember first hearing about asbestos and the dangers of it from my grandfather after his years of work for the government. He had found a good lawyer and was able to get himself Mesothelioma treatment. It ended up extending his life and he was able to live long enough to spend years with his youngest grandchildren. Me? I am very wary of asbestos and anything using it….
Vacation Specific Toys
Whenever we go on vacation, it seems like we always need to buy new toys for the kids. If we are going to the beach, we buy them beach toys. If we will be staying in a resort, we buy them pool toys. If we are going to the mountains, then we will buy them toys they can use in the great outdoors. I don’t know if it’s the right thing to do, but it’s what we do. I believe that they should have the toys needed to maximize their vacation experience.

Remembering Early Long Life Bulbs
I remember years ago I got my first telemarketing job. It was selling long life light bulbs. What an experience. It was at a time when compact fluorescent bulbs and other long life, low energy usage bulbs were first being introduced. I remember talking with people and trying to get them to buy the bulbs that I knew would save them money through lower power bills and less need for replacement bulbs. It certainly was a fun and exciting job for me at the time.
Now, I see LED bulbs making the same smash. I think it’s maybe time for me to jump on the LED bandwagon as well.
Taking Even More Weight Off
On the subject of a trip to Disneyland, I am trying to lose weight in preparation for the trip. I have been steadily losing weight over the last year, but I would love to kick it into a higher gear. Thank goodness I found a good slimming pills review. It was quite interesting and very helpful for me in finding a way to really lose more weight. I am anxious to try out one of them and see if it can really take my weight loss to another level. Wish me luck!
Off To Disneyland
It’s official, we are going to Disneyland this summer. The kids have wanted to go down there for the last few months and my wife and I finally decided that they deserved it. I am very frugal but after I found a great deal on a Anaheim California hotel, I knew that a trip could be done frugally. That was all I needed to take the plunge. Now my wife is looking to buy us some new luggage. Yippee!
So it’s off to Disneyland when summer rolls around and it’s going to be fun for the whole family. I think in these stressful economic times, it’s important to have some good family times.
