Improve The Look Of Your Room With Blinds
One of the most overlooked ways that you can really improve the look of a room when it comes to remodeling is by putting in a new set of window blinds. Window Blinds can make any room just look better both from the inside and outside. When installed correctly, they can and do increase the resale value of your home.
Maybe this is why we are looking to put new window blinds into our living room. It’s part of a mini remodeling effort to help improve the value of our home. More update on this to follow.
Door Hardware: Simple Way To Increase Home Value
It’s time to do more preparation for upcoming projects. With so many home improvement projects to do around the house, I know that I will truly be busy. It’s a though thing to do, but someone has to do it.
One project that I am looking at doing is sprucing the existing doors in the house. In order to do this properly, I need to find the perfect door hardware. Once I get the new door hardware, I can put it on and have nicer looking doors throughout my home. It’s a great and simple to add value to the home.
Improve The Looks Of Your Yard
I have talked about ways to beautify your home to increase its resale value in the past. By making simple home improvements, you can dramatically increase your resale value. In the past, we talked about ways to improve your home by remodeling your bathroom and we talked about putting in a pvc fence.
Another great way to improve the outside appearance of your home is with better landscaping. By planting flowers and trees, you improve the aesthetics of your property and this means your resale value will soar. For example, imagine how having a few Pomegranate trees could really turn your yard into a place of relaxation. Not only would your yard be more beautiful, but you’d also be able to enjoy the fruit produced from the Pomegranate trees for years to come.
Another Idea To Increase Equity
Yesterday, I talked about ways to increase the value of your home and also your equity by doing home improvement projects. I talked about one way to improve the aesthetics of your home on the outside with a fence. I didn’t mention the things you can do inside your home.
One nice little touch is to look at redoing your bathroom. You can redo your bathroom very easily with new paint or you can even look at some of the nice bathroom faucets available and put a new one in. The point is that you do a simple project and dramatically increase your home’s value and consequently, your equity.
Improving Your Neighborhood
Before I talked about doing a Saturday cleanup around the house as a way to increase the value of your home and put more money on your balance sheet. Lately I have been trying to think of other ways to improve your property value without spending a lot of money.
I touched on trying to get your neighbors involved in doing a Saturday cleanup, but what if your neighbors are unable or unwilling to do the same thing? Well, the solution to that is offering your help on a Saturday. Remember that the value of your home is somewhat dependent on the other houses in your neighborhood so this will help you out with a better valued home.
Start off by visiting the homes of elderly members of your neighborhood who may not have the ability to do outside work. Identify a couple of projects that need to be done and get started. It might just what you need to do in order to prompt other people to take the same pride in their neighborhood.
Helping others, now that’s a universal value.
