Ok, it’s time to talk business. I have been focused on non business things for the last couple of months. I’m dealing with some personal health issues and my productivity in everything has sufferred as a result. Not anymore. I decided to take the bulls by the horn and start doing productive things each and every day, even if my health is not cooperating.

English Casa is nearing completion. It’s going to be a guide for TEFL teachers in Latin America. I am not completely sure where it’s headed, but I think it’s going to be a great resource.

I am going to have a forum at Blogovela up and running within the next week. This will be a webmaster type of forum. Yes, I know there are hundreds, if not thousands of them, but face it, people are using them. I might as well be part of it.

I have more plans to follow, but one thing is sure. I am back.

Make Money with a Saturday Cleanup

I have talked about making Saturday a day for projects around the house. It’s a chance to fix things around the house that need fixing or doing general cleanup. In essence, it’s a good day to get the stuff done that you need to do. Having the completed projects and a better home should be enough benefit, but did you know that you can make money with a Saturday cleanup?

All the work you are doing around the house is adding to the value of your home. That value you are adding is found in your increased equity and depending on the projects you are undertaking, you could be adding hundreds of dollar of value to your home every Saturday. Isn’t that reason enough to do a Saturday cleanup?

Being More Efficient

Lately, many of my home projects and my computer projects have taken a backseat to the other very important work I need to do. This has probably been a very bad thing and it’s something that I really need to fix. This means getting everything back on the right track and refocusing efforts on the projects that I need to finish.

To this end, I have come up with two ideas, much like the Family Nights we have been doing. First off, I am doing Saturday Projects. These are non computer related projects around the house we need to get done. A mini garden is one of the first projects I will be doing.

Secondly, I doing Wednesday projects. These are programming projects that I need to get done and completed. A plugin update, a simple programming project and web design are all things done on this day.

I will look at things in one month and see how things have progressed and see just how successful they are.
