The World of Work
It seems like no matter how much we dream about the world of business and being our own boss, we can’t lose the the fear of returning to the world of work. Don’t get me wrong, business is a lot of work, but the work you put into it is directly paid to you in the form of profit.
In the world of work, things are different. The amount you earn is equal to the amount of work you put it in minus profit for the business owner and minus the inefficiencies of co-workers, management and business processes. I suppose the world of work makes sense if you are one of the inefficiencies, but if you aren’t then you lose money in the world of work.
Just some thought about the world of work….
