Under A Mountain of Debt

I remember how expensive it was when we first came back to the states. Between visas, airfare, getting into a new apartment, and getting settled, we not only burned through our savings, but we even went into debt. It was the worst kind of debt, credit card debt.

Since it was tough making ends meet when we first arrived, the credit card debt was even more difficult to deal with. I am really against carrying debt and this credit card debt quickly turned into a nightmare. The interest rate alone was hurting my family’s financial situation.

My wife did a lot of looking into Debt relief options and the best ways to deal with it, but in the end, the thing that worked the best for us was to get a second job and devote all of that income into paying off the credit card debt. After just a couple of months, we had reduced our debt level enough to have some breathing room.

I sure wish we would have known about Debt relief options from Bills.com. Maybe we could have dealt with the credit debt in another way. In fact, looking through their site, they’ve got a lot of ideas that would have been beneficial for our family.
